The generation gap is a burning issue for the parents, the child and the society. Today, the childhood is losing its substance and the parenthood is facing unprecedented situations. The child is burdened with aspirations, temptations and pressures. The generation gap may be reduced by a meaningful dialogue between the child and the parents. Sharing and counselling may foster the relationship between the child and the parents.
